Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity on the platform and your notification preferences. You may receive approximately 1-10 messages per week, though this can vary depending on:
• Number of active gigs in your specialization (for consultants)
• Number of gig postings and responses (for hospitals)
• Volume of messages you receive from other users
• Your selected notification preferences
Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s plan. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan. MedCon is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt-out of SMS notifications at any time using any of these methods:
Text STOP: Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message from MedCon
Profile Settings: Log into your MedCon account and update your notification preferences
Remove Phone Number: Remove your phone number from your profile settings
Contact Support: Email us at support@medconapp.com with your opt-out request
After you opt-out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt-in.

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt-in to SMS:

We use Twilio as our SMS service provider to deliver text notifications. When you opt-in to SMS, your phone number is shared with Twilio solely for message delivery. Twilio processes your phone number in accordance with their Privacy Policy and does not use your information for their own marketing purposes. Changes to SMS Program

If you delete your MedCon account, your phone number is automatically removed from our SMS notification system.
